CLÖCKH wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from the shared frustration of a family trying to build a home, and the realization that trust requires a better system.
The "Handshake" Problem
Several years ago, just as we were starting our family, my wife and I found ourselves needing to renovate our home. Like many first-time homeowners, we turned to family for guidance, hoping for support or a referral. Instead, we found ourselves navigating a complex world with no map.
We eventually hired a contractor who came with glowing references. I met him with hand-drawn sketches and high hopes. He agreed to the job immediately. Trusting the process, we paid a significant sum upfront.
The result was a disaster. The work was shoddy, the timeline evaporated, and the money was gone. It wasn't just a financial loss; it was an emotional weight that hung over our home and our young family for years. We learned the hard way that a "handshake deal" offers no protection when things go wrong.
Finding Peace in Structure
That was the first of many such experiences which eventually led to a change in our approach. We realized we couldn't rely on blind trust or luck. We began to enforce written contracts for even the smallest jobs. We outlined payment terms, deadlines, and deliverables before a single nail was hammered.
The transformation was immediate. The anxiety disappeared. When the rules were clear, no one could argue they were being treated unfairly. We realized that structure creates peace.

Fast forward to 2025. Watching the AI revolution unfold, I realized we finally had the tools to scale what my family had learned.
We didn't need AI to replace the contractor; we needed it to replace the "handshake." We built CLÖCKH to be the global standard for this relationship—an operating system where payments are secured, contracts are automatic, and fairness is coded into the platform.
CLÖCKH is our answer to the chaos. It is the tool we wish we had when we started our journey.
Why Now?
